The main construction of your new house is finished, the electricians have done the wiring, the flooring is in, and the last job is the plastering.  You may be happy enough to fit the plaster board in preparation for the plastering but you have heard that plastering walls is notoriously complicated, never mine the ceilings!  Your financial situation is not good, but you want the job done quickly. You will need to consider which is more cost effective – to have a go yourself and potentially fail, never having done any plastering before or to hire a professional plasterer.  If you do all the pre-preparation beforehand, an experienced professional plasterer will do the plastering in no time at all.
